Take your indoor garden to the next step with this all-levels workshop. Learn to create a device that will tell you when your plants are thirsty by turning on a light, sending a text, or tweeting! At the end, you will have a full, functional kit to take home.
The particle photon is a compact arduino-like microcontroller that connects to the cloud. You can write programs for it using a web browser or a smartphone app. When your program is ready, you can upload it to your Photon over the Wifi.
Some background experience with the Arduino platform is encouraged but not neccesary. Please bring a laptop and smart phone!
