We’re back! After a long hiatus, Winfosec will resume its series on the OWASP Top 10, exploring number eight: Software and Data Integrity Failures. Come to learn how you can get in trouble running code from untrusted sources and with deserializing untrusted input. As always we’ll show a live exploit and mitigation for the threat.
This will be a hybrid event – so feel free to join us virtually via Zoom or in-person at Hackforge HQ (300 Ouellette, Unit 210).
There is no cost to participate. If you’d like to review past Winfosec sessions, check out the Youtube playlist.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) means different things to different people, but the ultimate question that is asked by virtually every website owner is a simple one:
]How do we ensure that prospective customers or users are finding us when using online search, and ideally doing so before they discover competitors or alternatives?
This workshop introduces the core concepts behind Search Engine Optimization, including the 4 main pillars of SEO and how each one contributes to your website’s search ranking. We’ll then take an introductory tour of the premier SEO plugin for WordPress: Yoast SEO. You’ll learn how to leverage this plugin effectively to improve your website’s SEO posture.
There will be 2 times for this event:1:30 pm (virtual only) and 7pm (hybrid)
There is no cost to attend, and everyone is welcome!
