Tuesday, June 7: 6:00PM
Introduction to why this group was created and what our focus and goals are. Preview and discussion around .NET Core and ASP.NET Core. Explore the use of .NET for building and deploying applications on any platform. The focus will be on the various .NET Platforms (Full Framework, Core, Mono), OSS libraries and various development concepts.

DIY Audio Electronics Group: Vacuum Tubes
Wednesday, June 8: 7:00 – 9:00PM
Join us for the last DIY Audio group meetup before the summer break and take a step back in time to when the vacuum tube was king. Host Rob Caruso will doing an introduction to tube theory and operation and HF member Randy Topliffe will be demoing his audio setup which includes a Raspberry Pi, a Schiit DAC & tube based head phone amplifier.
Bring an audio source (phone/tablet/etc) and earbuds or headphones to experience the tube amplifier for yourself.

Intro to HTML: Coding Class for Women

Get the fundamentals down for this practical and simple coding language. This is a great introduction for anyone who wants to get started with code. Bring your laptop!
Computer Girls is coding classes for women by women. In partnership with Women’s Enterprise Skills Training (WEST) and funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, these classes are taught by female professional computer programmers with the aim to get more women interested in coding.
